Complete Your Downloads Safely.

This guide explains all download types supported by InstaBee, bulk ZIP archives, and troubleshooting steps in one place.

Quick Start
Choose the Right Tool

Paste the post, short-video, story, or profile link into the corresponding download tool.

Check the Preview

Review the file type, selection, and download options on media cards that are ready.

Open the Complete ZIP Set

For split archives, keep all .zNN files and the final .zip file in the same folder.

Choose the Right Tool First

Each content type may use a different input. Entering the link or username in the correct tool helps the result be prepared faster and more accurately.

Copy the Link

On Instagram, copy the post, short-video, story, or profile link you want to download from the Share menu.

Paste It into the Appropriate Tool

Use the Post tool for posts, the Short Video tool for Reels, and the Full Profile tool for bulk scanning.

Check the Result

When the preview, file type, media count, and bulk-download options are ready, start the download.

Supported Download Types

On InstaBee, different flows such as single media, multi-item galleries, stories, highlights, and full profiles all follow the same simple usage pattern.

Download Photo Post

Used to resolve single-photo Instagram post links and save the photo at a quality close to the original.

Single-photo Instagram post link
  1. Open the single-photo Instagram post.
  2. Copy the post link from the Share or link menu.
  3. Paste it into the Post tool and press the download button.
  4. When the preview is ready, save the photo to your device.
  • If the post has a caption, it is preserved in the preview area.
  • Bulk-download controls are not shown because there is only one media item.
  • The image size is prepared from the best available source provided by Instagram.

Download Video Post

Used to download single-video post links that appear as video posts in the main feed.

Single-video Instagram post link
  1. Open the video post on Instagram.
  2. Copy the post link from the Share or link menu.
  3. Paste it into the Post tool and start resolving the content.
  4. When the video preview is ready, save the file to your device.
  • A video post and Reels are not the same; Reels links are resolved more accurately with the Short Video tool.
  • Videos with audio are downloaded as a single media file.
  • If the source expires, copy the link again and retry.

Download Short Video

Used to download Instagram Reels or short-video links in high quality.

Instagram short-video link
  1. Copy the short-video link from Instagram.
  2. Paste it into the Short Video tool.
  3. When the video preview and download button are ready, save the file to your device.
  • The preview is not a thumbnail; whenever possible, the actual video source is prepared.
  • Videos with audio are downloaded as a single file.
  • For restricted or expired sources, refresh the link before trying again.

Download Story

Used to view accessible active story photos and videos.

Story link, profile link, or username
  1. You can paste the story link directly or enter the username.
  2. The system lists accessible active stories.
  3. You can download each story individually or prepare a bulk ZIP when multiple media items are available.
  • Stories are temporary content, so expired items cannot be retrieved.
  • Private profiles or stories that require access may not be supported.
  • If a story video cannot be played, the download button can still be used to save the file.

Download Highlights

Used to download highlight collections on a profile and the story media inside each collection.

Instagram username or profile link
  1. Enter the username or profile link in the Highlights tool.
  2. When the collections load, select the highlight you want to download.
  3. When the media in the collection is ready, download items individually or in bulk.
  • Each collection is selected separately so unnecessary media is not loaded.
  • If the profile owner removed highlight content, it may no longer appear in the list.
  • The bulk ZIP contains the actual media files from the selected collection.

Download Profile Picture

Used to view and download a public profile picture at a larger resolution.

Instagram username or profile link
  1. Enter the username or profile link in the Profile Picture tool.
  2. When the profile picture is ready, check the preview.
  3. Save the photo to your device with the download button.
  • The ZIP option is not shown because the profile picture is a single media item.
  • On private profiles, access to the profile picture is limited to the visibility provided by Instagram.
  • The file name is generated safely based on the username.

Download Full Profile

Used to scan, filter, select, and bulk-download groups of posts from a public profile.

Instagram username or profile link
  1. Enter the username or profile link in the Full Profile tool.
  2. As the scan progresses, incoming media is listed gradually.
  3. Use the photo, short-video, or carousel-post filters to make your selection.
  4. Download items individually or prepare the selected media as a ZIP archive.
  • The profile counter and the actual number of media items that can be scanned may differ because of Instagram-side archiving, privacy, copyright, or synchronization states.
  • To keep the page from becoming unnecessarily long, a Show More flow is used after the first media groups.
  • When a bulk ZIP is created, each unique media file is added to the archive only once.

Bulk ZIP Download

Used to prepare multiple media files as a single or split ZIP archive.

At least two selected downloadable media items
  1. Select the media you want to download.
  2. Press the Download as ZIP button.
  3. Ready volume files are saved by the browser as normal downloads.
  4. If a split ZIP is created, keep all parts in the same folder and open the final .zip file.
  • Archive parts are created based on actual file size, not the number of media items.
  • Large ZIP files are not loaded into memory as JavaScript Blobs.
  • Without the final .zip file, parts such as .z01 and .z02 cannot be opened on their own.

Bulk ZIP and Split Archive Help

For large bulk downloads, the archive may be downloaded as multiple volumes. This is normal; what matters is that every part downloads completely and that the final .zip file is opened.

Most important rule: open only the final .zip file.

All .zNN parts and the final .zip file must be in the same folder. Do not open parts individually, rename them, or change their extensions.

What Does a Correct File Set Look Like?

For example, if eight volumes are created, the first seven files are downloaded as .z01 through .z07, and the last file is downloaded as .zip.

Part 1instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.z01
Part 2instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.z02
Part 3instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.z03
One of the Last Partsinstagram-kullanici-tam-profil.z07
Finalinstagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip
File to Open instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip

The archive application automatically reads the other parts from the same folder.

Is the Final .zip Present?

If not, the archive is incomplete and cannot be extracted.

Is the Sequence Complete?

It should continue without gaps as .z01, .z02, .z03, and so on.

Do the Names Match?

The file stem must be identical; only the extensions should differ.

Are They in the Same Folder?

The parts must not be scattered across subfolders or different locations.

Extraction by Operating System

Before selecting your system, make sure all archive parts are in the same folder.

W

Windows 10 / 11

WinRAR and WinZip can also be used; Windows Explorer's Extract All feature is not reliable for classic split ZIP archives.

Recommended: 7-Zip

7-Zip Graphical Interface

The simplest method is to open the final .zip file with 7-Zip.

  1. Put all .z01, .z02, and the final .zip files in the same folder.
  2. Install 7-Zip from its official website.
  3. Right-click only the final .zip file.
  4. From the 7-Zip menu, use Extract to or Extract Here.
  5. Do not move or delete any part until the process is complete.

PowerShell or Command Prompt

Test the archive first; if there are no errors, extract the files.

PowerShell
Set-Location "$HOME\Downloads"
& "$env:ProgramFiles\7-Zip\7z.exe" t ".\instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip"
& "$env:ProgramFiles\7-Zip\7z.exe" x ".\instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip" "-o.\instagram-kullanici-tam-profil-cikti"
CMD
cd /d "%USERPROFILE%\Downloads"
"%ProgramFiles%\7-Zip\7z.exe" t "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip"
"%ProgramFiles%\7-Zip\7z.exe" x "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip" -o"instagram-kullanici-tam-profil-cikti"
Windows Explorer Warning

Windows' built-in ZIP extraction tool is intended for regular ZIP files. For the classic .z01/.zip split format, use 7-Zip, WinRAR, or WinZip.

M

macOS

Double-clicking in Finder opens Archive Utility, which in most cases cannot extract the classic split ZIP format.

Recommended: Keka, The Unarchiver, or 7zz

Keka Graphical Interface

Keka provides a convenient graphical interface for split archives on macOS.

  1. Move all parts into the same folder in Finder.
  2. Install and open Keka.
  3. Drop the final .zip file onto the Keka window or Dock icon.
  4. Choose the destination folder and wait for the process to finish.

7-Zip in Terminal

Run the test first on the command line, then run the extraction.

Terminal
brew install sevenzip
cd ~/Downloads
7zz t "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip"
7zz x "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip" -o"instagram-kullanici-tam-profil-cikti"
Archive Utility Is Not Supported

Double-clicking the final ZIP in Finder launches macOS Archive Utility. It may not extract the classic multi-volume format directly; use Keka or 7zz.

L

Linux

Depending on the distribution, the command may be named 7z or 7zz. Info-ZIP unzip may not extract split archives directly.

Recommended: 7z or 7zz

Install 7-Zip

Use the package manager appropriate for your distribution.

Debian / Ubuntu
sudo apt update
sudo apt install 7zip
Fedora
sudo dnf install 7zip
Arch Linux
sudo pacman -S 7zip

Test and Extract the Archive

If the test command succeeds, run the extraction command.

Bash / Zsh
cd ~/Downloads
7z t "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip"
7z x "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip" -o"instagram-kullanici-tam-profil-cikti"
Info-ZIP Note

The unzip final.zip command may not directly support true multi-disk archives. Use 7-Zip or first convert the archive to a single ZIP with zip -s 0.

C

ChromeOS / Chromebook

Using 7-Zip in the Linux development environment is more reliable than the ChromeOS Files app.

Linux Environment Recommended

Enable the Linux Development Environment

Share the files with the Linux environment so you can use 7-Zip commands.

  1. Enable the Linux development environment in Settings.
  2. Make sure all downloaded parts are in the same folder.
  3. Right-click the folder and use Share with Linux.
  4. In Terminal, go to the folder containing the archive.
ChromeOS Linux Terminal
sudo apt update
sudo apt install 7zip
cd /mnt/chromeos/MyFiles/Downloads
7z t "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip"
7z x "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip" -o"instagram-kullanici-tam-profil-cikti"
Native File Manager Limitation

The ChromeOS Files app may be sufficient for regular ZIP files; for classic split ZIP archives, use 7-Zip in the Linux environment.

A

Android Phone and Tablet

If the files were saved in different folders, first bring them together in the same Download folder.

Recommended: ZArchiver

Extract with ZArchiver

Use an archive app that supports split ZIP archives on Android.

  1. Install ZArchiver from Google Play.
  2. Grant the app file or storage access.
  3. Keep all .zNN files and the final .zip file in the same Download folder.
  4. Tap the final .zip file in ZArchiver.
  5. Use Extract here or Extract to archive-name folder.
Storage Space

During extraction, the archive parts and extracted media occupy space at the same time. Leave enough free space, especially for large profiles.

i

iPhone / iPad

The iOS Files app is suitable for regular ZIP files; for classic .z01/.zip sets, it is safer to use a dedicated archive app.

Third-Party App Recommended

Extract with Keka

Before opening large or split archives, make sure all files have been downloaded locally to the device.

  1. Set Safari's download location to the Downloads folder in Files.
  2. Move all .zNN parts and the final .zip file into the same folder.
  3. Install Keka from the App Store.
  4. Touch and hold the final .zip file, then open it with Keka from the Share menu.
  5. Choose the extraction destination in Keka.
iCloud Sync

Download any parts showing a cloud icon to the device first. If extraction starts before syncing finishes, the archive will appear incomplete.

S

Server, NAS, and Unix Systems

Do not rely on a web file manager's normal ZIP extraction feature; test and extract through SSH or a terminal.

7zz or zip -s 0

7-Zip Command Line

Testing the archive first in a server environment helps detect missing-volume problems early.

POSIX Shell
cd /arsivin/bulundugu/klasor
7zz t "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip"
7zz x "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip" -o"instagram-kullanici-tam-profil-cikti"

Convert to a Single ZIP with Info-ZIP

If 7-Zip is unavailable, first create a regular single ZIP and then extract it with unzip.

Server Shell
cd /volume1/downloads
zip -s 0 "instagram-kullanici-tam-profil.zip" --out "profil-birlesik.zip"
unzip -t "profil-birlesik.zip"
unzip "profil-birlesik.zip" -d "profil-cikti"
Free Space Warning

The merge method keeps a new full ZIP and the extracted files in addition to the existing split parts. Temporarily, you may need more than twice the total archive size in free space.

Troubleshooting

Check the most common download and ZIP errors with these steps.

The Form Shows an “Instagram Content Could Not Be Retrieved” Error

Make sure the link was entered in the correct tool. Reels links should go to the Short Video tool, while profile links should go to the Full Profile tool or the relevant profile-based tool.

The content may be private, removed, require access, or Instagram may be temporarily limiting requests. After a few minutes, copy the link again and retry.

The Full Profile Scan Count Does Not Match the Profile Counter

Instagram's profile counter may still include posts that are archived, hidden, unavailable because of copyright, or delayed in synchronization.

InstaBee lists the unique post and media records that are actually returned; it does not fabricate content that is not visible.

Some Images Look White or Keep Loading

The media source may be temporarily unavailable. Resolving the link again or waiting briefly before refreshing the page may help.

Browser extensions, ad blockers, or network filters may block media previews.

The Final .zip File Is Missing

The split archive is incomplete. Parts such as .z01 and .z02 cannot be used on their own.

The browser may have blocked permission for multiple downloads. Allow it and download the final .zip file as well.

I Get a CRC, Data Error, or Missing Volume Error

A volume may be missing, partially downloaded, or renamed. Check the file sequence and file names.

Test the archive with the 7z t final.zip command; download the part that reports an error again.

File Names Contain (1) or (2)

The same file may have been downloaded more than once. Keep only one copy of each volume in the archive set.

The file stem must be exactly the same; only the .z01, .z02, and .zip extensions should differ.

Safe and Responsible Use

The ability to download content does not grant the right to republish or use it commercially. Download only content you are authorized to access, content the rights holder has permitted, or content you may save for your own use.

No Password Required

Users are not asked for an Instagram password; supported public or otherwise accessible content is resolved.

Temporary Files Are Cleaned Up

Bulk archives and temporary media files are not kept to build a permanent gallery; they are removed through maintenance and cleanup processes.

Do Not Infringe Rights

Uses that violate copyright, privacy, personality rights, or platform rules are the user's own responsibility.

Programs and Official Sources

Download archive applications only from their official websites or the operating system's official store.
